Frequently Asked Questions

All you need to know

Here’s a rundown of a few questions I get asked the most.

 Q. Do I need to leave a deposit to secure a date?

A. Yes, a holding deposit is taken to secure my services for your wedding date. Full balance is payable upfront 4 weeks before your wedding day. This can be discussed in your wedding consultation.

Q. How far will you travel?

A. Normally I stay inside of Kent, however I will travel further afield and arrangements can be made for me to do this.

Q. How many images will I receive?

A. Now this depends, the average number is around 300-400, however it depends on how the day runs, number of guests, locations and so on.

 Q. How long will I have to wait to see the photos?

A. Normally around 3-4 weeks after the wedding day, sometimes less and occasionally more. I’ll make sure the photos are edited to a high standard before delivery, if there are likely to be any delays then I’ll get in contact with you.

Q. Am I allowed to print and share my photos?

A. Of course, you hold the rights to the photos therefore you can print or share as you like. I will supply a full set of images in high resolution ideal for printing canvases or large prints and another set for sharing on your favourite social media platform!

Q. Do you request unplugged weddings?

A. If this is the bride and groom’s wishes then that’s not a problem. However, I don’t enforce unplugged weddings, weddings are there to be enjoyed by all guests and everyone loves a selfie!

Q. How many group shots can I have?

A. The simple answer is, as many as you like. However, realistically keeping it to 4 or 5 groups can make it easier to manage. Guests tend to get bored after a few and start wandering off so it’s best to keep to just the necessary shots.
