I caught up with Diane and the bridal party mid way through the morning in a salon in Ashford. From here we headed into the beautiful countryside of Kent, to Diane’s Mum & Dad’s place. This is where the final preparations were to take place. The two wedding cars, a stunning Jaguar that belongs to Diane’s Dad and a Morris Ten Four lent by a family friend. After a slight hitch with the dress, I rushed off to the church to catch up with the groom to be, Malcolm but not before getting photographs of the bridal party flowers.
At the church, Malcolm was relatively chilled with a slight hint of nerves, the ceremony at Sellindge church ran without a hitch and Malcolm and Diane became man and wife. The reception followed at a local sports and social club beautifully decorated. I hadn’t seen cream teas offered as a wedding breakfast before but it’s a pretty awesome idea! (I may have had a cake or two…) and with Indigo Stone providing the soundtrack to the evening the party was sure to go on all night!
Diane and Malcolm, I had an awesome time shooting your wedding. Thanks for having me and I wish you all the best for the future!
